About BellyMamas
BellyMamas is a Prenatal Fitness program created by my own experience. I taught and performed Bellydance and Classical Spanish and Flamenco dance through my second pregnancy. I felt great the entire time and never felt like stopping. The performing slowed down only after about the fifth month only because my costumes couldn’t be altered quite so much to accommodate the firm round belly that had grown!
After I danced my second child into the world I was so energized and inspired by the journey that I had to share this blissful birth and prenatal experience with all women.
Building on what I already knew intuitively, I began taking classes and certifications that focus on solid research and education about the perinatal woman.
BellyMamas is a fun, low impact, workout that is targeted to what a woman needs during her pregnancy and for a faster postpartum recovery. BellyMamas classes are sprinkled with current information about birth, health, nutrition and include strength building exercises, pelvic floor exercises, deep relaxation and of course Bellydance.
BellyMamas is easily tailored to the fitness level of every woman and no previous dance experience is needed.
